Animated Spinning Kunai - Naruto WATAKUSHI SHIPPUDEN
Female Shinobi. It has hit me. I have not actually blogged or talked about any of the female characters of Naruto (apart from Tsunade. For full details, see Tsunade Pig Tale Week). Which lead me to think that I have been neglecting my favourite characters in the series that are not male. I believe this to be (my excuse if you will), because of the recent times in the manga and the anime themselves to be focused more on the male Shinobi rather than the female Shinobi. With this said, I cannot help but wonder, why are the female Shinobi being neglected at the current moment? Is it because we are focused on the evil characters that are at the moment predominately male? If so, why don’t we have any evil women characters at the moment? Are female Shinobi in the present moment for the anime a symbol of staying true to the good side of the Five united great Nations? * Sigh * There are too many questions. But confessions must be made. My favourite female character has a close call between Temari from the sand and Hinata from the leaf. I was allured to Temari because of her intellect and strong wind battle prowess. And Hinata struck a chord with me because of her personality. Plus she fancies the main character, so it’s hard NOT to notice her. Either way, I’m torn between the two so I refuse to make the choice of who’s my favourite female kunoichi! Who’s your favourite female character? Maybe you hate all the female characters? If so, why are you being a misogynist towards the Naruto characters?

Trolling Naruto Blogging sites. As an avid Naruto fan, I regularly look at Naruto websites to see what other Naruto fans (what I call Narufans) have to say to see if I agree with what they say or if I can have a chuckle at their comments. Recently, there was a huge debate about Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha as to who was the stronger ninja. This debate will not be solved until the conclusion of their battle, but still, the debate about what people are speculating and who side they believe is stronger splits apart the Narufans almost at a 50 to 50 ratio. Never the less, the blogging comments are still entertaining. It’s in these threads that you find who the real Narufans are and who are just plain stupid. One guy asked what the Rasengan was. I honestly flipped my $h!t. How can you be in these Naruto threads and ask such a question?! Sure, most questions when asked are not stupid in a classroom, but on a specialised thread about this topic, this is the most ridiculous question I’ve ever experienced. It would be like asking, ”Who is Sasuke?” or worse, “What is the will of Fire?” Perhaps the person in question was trying to stir the pot and get this reaction from the Narufans, but whatever his motive, I still believe it’s stupid. In other news, I recently got up to episode 100 on DVD for Naruto Shippuden. All of the DVDs together look very sexy and I am a proud Narufan at the current time. Cannot wait til the next one comes out on DVD though.. Actually can’t wait to have all of the Naruto Shippuden on DVD to myself. DATTEBAYO!

Naruto Dreams Recently, a night or two ago to be exact, I was disturbed by the dream that entered my mind. They say that the last thing that you think of will be in your dreams that night. But I honestly do not know why Shikamaru Nara was in my dreams that night. Perhaps I was suffering from NAS, (Naruto Anxiety Syndrome) and wanted to watch and read the next instalment of this captivating series. Perhaps I was thinking about this blog as an assignment. Either way, for me to dream about asking everyone around for Shikamaru’s number is pretty wack. (By now, if you cannot tell who my favourite character is from this series, you are pretty blind. Just saying.) But have you ever had a Naruto dream? Perhaps it wasn’t a Naruto dream as such but another anime dream? Or maybe, you wish you had a strange anime dream? In any case, it goes to show how much of a strange dreamer I Am. :/

Making A Fashion Statement. So today, I was out and about at university and as assumed I had at least one lecture. And what did I see in this said lecture? Possibly the best men’s jumper I have ever seen. And why did this said jumper own this title? Because it was a Naruto jumper. Seriously awesome! From what I could see in the lecture room, he had the “Village Hidden in the Leaves” symbol on his back and a possible hood inside the jumper.  To the guy out there who was in my lecture today and has this said jacket: CAN I TAKE A PHOTO WITH YOU?? :D The main point; do these same jackets come in Women’s styles and where can I get one of those babies?! Honestly, it’d be like making a fashion statement. Although, I reckon the BEST fashion statement anywhere (and could be pulled off) are the ninja vests. They could go with anything. Jeans, skirts, shorts, on top of tee shirts! Do I sound geeky or what?  To clarify my fashion sense though, we COULD wear anything from the world of Naruto in real life and, in the right context, pull it off with the ONLY exception of Gai-Sensei and Rock Lee’s green skinny jumpsuits… Honestly, I’m a fan of those two, but not that much.

My hero from Naruto Shippuden; Shikamaru Nara.
… Seriously, don’t tease my drawings.
Even though its backwards, I reckon if I got to be a real shinobi, I’d choose to be from the Village Hidden in the Leaves in the land of Fire. There’s just something really appealing about that nation. What about you guys?? Which land would you want to be from?
